In the ACT, the NDIS Worker Screening Check is part of the Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration. If you’re working in a risk-assessed NDIS role, you must be registered under the WWVP scheme with NDIS clearance before starting work.

In this guide, we cover the application process, required documents, fees, and how long it takes.

📝 What Is the NDIS Worker Screening Check?

The NDIS Worker Screening Check assesses whether you pose a risk to people with disability. In the ACT, this check is combined with your WWVP registration, which covers people working with children, people with disability, and other vulnerable groups.

If you’re employed by a registered NDIS provider in a risk-assessed role, you must have a WWVP registration that includes NDIS clearance.
