  • ❓ Do I need to register to be an NDIS provider?
    Only if you want to work with NDIA-managed participants or deliver higher-risk supports. Many providers start unregistered and support plan-managed or self-managed participants. But registration gives you greater credibility, access to more referrals, and the ability to grow long term.

    ❓ Who can register as an NDIS provider?
    Any business registered in Australia can apply — including sole traders, partnerships, companies, and not-for-profit entities. We help all types of providers navigate the process, even if you’re just starting out.

  • ❓ Can I start my NDIS business without registering?
    Yes. You can begin offering services to self-managed or plan-managed participants without registration. Registration becomes essential if you want to work with NDIA-managed participants or provide certain higher-risk supports.

    ❓ What documentation do I need to apply?
    You’ll need:

    • An active ABN and PRODA account

    • Required insurances – including public liability and professional indemnity

    • Worker documentation – including job descriptions, contracts, and personnel files

    • Mandatory training – NDIS Worker Orientation Module and Infection Control/PPE training for all workers

    • Security screenings – NDIS Worker Screening Check for all workers (or a National Police Check if access is not yet available). A Working with Children Check may also be required depending on your services.

    • Policies and procedures – tailored to the supports you’ll offer and aligned with the NDIS Practice Standards

    • Completed self-assessment against the relevant NDIS Practice Standards

    • Your chosen registration groups

  • ❓ How long does the NDIS registration process take?
    We help most clients get audit-ready in 4–6 weeks. From there, the total time depends on how quickly your audit is booked and how long the Commission takes to finalise your application.

    ❓ What kind of audit will I need?

    • Verification Audit – for low-risk supports (e.g. household tasks, plan management)

    • Certification Audit – for higher-risk supports (e.g. personal care, high intensity support, behaviour support)

    ❓ How long does NDIS registration last?
    Your initial registration is valid for 3 years. If you undergo a certification audit, you’ll need to complete a mid-term audit 18 months after registration. Verified providers do not require a mid-term audit.

    ❓ What if I only need a verification audit?
    For lower-risk services (e.g. household tasks, therapeutic supports), you'll only need a verification audit, and our pricing is $1,299 + GST. We’ll confirm your audit type before you sign.

    ❓ Do specialist modules cost more?
    Yes — registration groups like High Intensity Supports or Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) require additional modules, a certification audit, and more documentation. We’ll give you a tailored quote if this applies.

  • ❓ What happens if I don’t pass my audit?
    We’ll cover the cost of your next audit — that’s part of our 100% Pass Guarantee. We support you all the way until you’re approved.

    ❓ What if I change my mind?
    You can cancel within 14 days of signing. If no documentation has been delivered, we’ll issue a full refund. After that point, the guarantee no longer applies.

    ❓ Will you support me after registration?
    Yes. We don’t disappear after you pass your audit. We’ll guide you through Commission follow-ups, set up your website, and help you prepare to attract your first clients.

    ❓ Do I need qualifications to register?
    Some registration groups (like therapeutic supports) require formal qualifications. Others are based on your experience. We’ll help you select the right registration groups based on your background.
